During cold therapy, your body will be immersed in a cold pool, so we ask that you wear a swimsuit during treatment.
The sooner you have an ice bath after working out, the more effective it will be. Cold therapy is also a great follow-up to fascial stretch therapy for increased recovery benefits.
Cold therapy is done in a small cold bath, so it doesn’t have the same risks as cold water swimming or cryotherapy. However, cold therapy is not recommended for those with circulation issues or decreased blood flow. Examples include those with Raynaud’s syndrome, neuropathy, or allergies related to cold exposure. You should also speak to your doctor before treatment if you have diabetes, cardiovascular disease, or high blood pressure.
We do not allow individuals under the age of 14 to use the cryospa, unless provided with a doctor’s note.
